In sectors where salt, fertilizers or aggressive chemicals are used, environmental conditions are unforgiving. Corrosion acts constantly, compromising the reliability of the equipment, generating unplanned stops and increasing maintenance costs.
Aware of this reality, PAYPER has spent years developing versions of our bagging machines specifically adapted to these demanding environments. This is not a new solution, but a consolidated technology that we can apply to our entire range.
The use of stainless steel in mechanical components provides excellent structural resistance to moisture and corrosive products. However, at PAYPER we have gone further. Our experience in highly corrosive sectors has led us to redesign other critical elements of the machinery to ensure maximum reliability and durability.
For example, electrical cabinets are also made of stainless steel, and sensors are designed without connectors and with resistant materials such as plastics or stainless steel, to avoid common failures. Junction boxes, valve modules, pneumatic fittings or cylinders are also adapted with anti-corrosion materials or treatments.
On a conventional bagging machine, designed for standard environments, constant exposure to salt or chemicals can cause damage. Painted surfaces deteriorate quickly, requiring repainting and resulting in lost production time. Fasteners rust and can become blocked, making it difficult or impossible to remove parts for maintenance. Likewise, moving parts such as ball joints or bearings can become blocked, causing mechanical failures. Electrical connectors, especially after the first replacement, become weak points that generate unexpected interruptions. In addition, pneumatic cylinder seals degrade, causing pressure leaks and reducing operating efficiency. Even pneumatic fittings can rust and compromise overall system performance.
All this results in constant, unpredictable and costly maintenance and premature machine wear.
The anti-corrosion versions of our solutions eliminate or prevent all these critical points. The result is clear: fewer interventions, fewer breakdowns and more effective production time. These configurations also allow for more aggressive cleaning processes, which is essential in industries with strict hygiene requirements.
It is an ideal solution for the bagging of products such as salt, fertilizers (organic or chemical) and other materials that, until now, have been a major challenge.
At PAYPER, we not only adapt the technology to the production requirements, but also to the ambient conditions.
