At El Rosal social cookie workshop, Lluís was making wafers using the usual process. However, what came off the rolling pin didn’t always have the expected shape. Far from being discarded, those cookies began to pique the team’s curiosity. They had a different texture and an irregular appearance, but a flavor that won over everyone who tasted them.
That is how Arrugats came to be. A unique product with its own identity, it now accounts for nearly 70% of the bakery’s output.
