Nayara Energy LTD is an Indo-Russian oil refining company that owns and operates the Vadinar refinery in Gujarat, India. The facility has a crude oil processing capacity of 250 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA), making it the second-largest refinery in the country.
Nayara required a modern, fully automatic bagging line capable of efficiently filling FFS bags of 25 kg. In addition, they needed an integrated palletizer to complete the bag packaging process.
Engineers from both companies collaborated closely to develop an optimal solution that met all of Technip & Nayara’s requirements.
The final outcome was a fully automatic FFS system, model ASSAC F-10, a high-performance bagging machine with a speed of up to 2,000 bags per hour. A metal detector and a checkweigher were integrated for the quality control process. After the bagging process, an ink-jet printer was included to mark both sides of the bag. To finish the process, we included a high-level infeed palletizer, model HLP-180, equipped with an empty pallet magazine, a cardboard sheet dispenser on the empty pallet, and another cardboard sheet dispenser on the full pallet.
Based on the desired production capacity, two more bagging lines were added to the project, making a total of four.
